Get illustrator (or rip or my roland) to convert K100 colors?

Ive got som pictures that contains k 0-100 colors and as we all know its not something u want to print.

Is it possible to install somekind of a plugin in illustator(or other program) that converts K0-100 to something similar with all the cmyk colors?

Im on illustrator, colorip 2.2 and ive got a sp300.

your RIP should be doing it I would imagine...maybe uncheck "preserve spot colors"

You can change the color settings to rgb for the document and then go back to cmyk. Of course, this will change the rest of your colors as well.
