I don't see how you could support a sign shop doing little stickers for anyone who walks in on demand. I make money doing jobs in the hundreds of dollars, and in the thousands of dollars per job. If all day I had to talk to douche bags about stupid little $15 stickers I would never pay rent, myself, my utilities or suppliers.

Don't even think about putting a coffee pot out, unless you're going to get a food service permit.

Make sure to make a sign with your shop minimum (let's say $50) to keep out the sticker-wanters.
Post hours on the door along with a NO SOLICITORS sign.
Definitely divide your work area from your customer area and mark the work area as PRIVATE or have some sort of barrier.
That's some of the stuff I've learned over the past 25 years at this location.
