The Epson 9900 lists at over 11k over here in OZ, not 6K unfortunately
For my way of thinking one of the Roland/Mutoh/Mimakis which is a machine made to print reliably, not all Epsons are so.
You only have to look at the constant stream of updated Epson printers to get an inkling of their business model.
I'd prefer a Roland/Mutoh/Mimaki running some of inks from americaninkjet...I suspect that the third party ink lockout will stop people using anything but OEM ink in late model HP/Canon/Epson printers. I do know from some lists that I subscribe to that malfuctioning cartridges cause lots of giref.
