Glass Cutting Mat?

Has anyone used a glass cutting mat? Good, bad? Where can i get one that's 4'x24' :Big Laugh

I've heard they are the bees knees...maybe call a local glass supply house? 4x24 seems like a hugely heavy piece of glass

I have a 4x8 sheet of glass on my work table. Been using it for 7 years and it's the best thing I've ever cut on.

Had it and hated it cut the tip of my finger off when the knife slipped on the glass. We just got some rhino cutting mats and they are fantastic.

I use a homemade wood table with 1/4" tempered glass top with lights attached below.
Nice if you have to line up or layer vinyl. Don't do much of that since we got our printer but you run into it from time to time.
Never cut myself but I could see it happening if your not careful.

I'd say that glass is gonna be expensive for that large an area.

I have 3/4" think sheet glass tables and love them. You will want to get something at least two inches wider than your prints.
