Glow in the Dark Vinyl

Does anyone know of a vinyl that Glow's in the Dark that can be printed on with eco-solvent? Customer wants a lot of labels and of course wants to keep his costs down.

Print on clear then put on the glow in the dark vinyl.

I have solvent printed on GerberGlow. Came out alright. Colors will be off and heavy coverage bands a bit.

Print them on clear then lam that over the glo in the dark vinyl. Word of warning, people expect the glo in the dark stuff to stay lit 10-12 hours, in reality it is like 10-15 minutes, if it is charged up well. Be sure to let the customer know what to expect .

Photoluminescent Film

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Photoluminescent Film is a high performance photoluminescent film for signage. This film is rechargeable for “glow in the dark” signs. Photoluminescent absorbs visual lights and automatically glows in the dark for at least 10 hours once fully charged. It is dimensionally stable and offers excellent resistance to chemicals and stains.
No radioactive materials are used in the manufacturing of this product and it may be safely disposed of in a sanitary landfill.

Face Film: 9 to 11 mils film with a light yellow/green glossy appearance

Adhesive: Permanent pressure sensitive adhesive

The performance life may vary depending on application processes and techniques. When properly processed and applied, this product will remain highly effective for up to 6 years.

Took the sample to our hallway and took two photos with my iphone (not the best quality, sorry). One pic is partial light, door to hallway open. The second is image in pitch dark.

How long does it actually glow, though? I know it says 10 hours but that usually means it's fairly bright for about half an hour and then you can kind of see it if you're looking right at it after that.

RTape Glow in the Dark vs. HP Latex? Any thoughts.

Just received my sample roll of Rtapes "Glow in the dark vinyl" GlowEFX to test out on the HP 25500 Latex. Will it work? Did your sample work out on the Latex?
