i have a request for one to be made.

it is a decent size, with LED backlit lettering.


due to material constraints, my current vendor cannot make them. they can only paint the aluminum they use.

all backlit only.
no front lit.
the customer want yellow LED 's too.

front lit would be like a spot light / gooseneck
back lit is behind an acrylic face
halo lit is opaque letter with the lights providing a halo effect

Anyway, in answering the OP's request, it's not paint at all. They'd just hafta get some mirrored aluminum in. They can get that just about from any distributor.

For this color, my powder coating guy can make this color. I just send him the aluminum letters. The paint he use is Tiger ''special effects'' candy transparent gold. It will have the effect you want.
