Gold Rush Alaska

Man how upsetting to see what has happened after all that hard work on their glory hole just to have it all taken away for someone else to get all that gold! I still hate it when the old man talks but I feel bad for what happened, I was excited to see how much they could have pulled out of that hole. Oh well I guess you gotta make those lease payments on time huh.

Todd has to be the world's worst businessman. How do you have a lease that is void if the claim owner decides to sell? And how do you haul yourself and a crew back to it if you aren't certain of your rights in writing? And how do you buy and ship all that heavy equipment to a second claim without a guarantee that you will have everything you need, including water rights, to operate the claim?

And how do you have the cajones to then suggest that your crew follow you into the unknown?

:goodpost:That dude is the worst ever.... he failed to make payment on the clam in the off season so therefore his lease is void otherwise he would have nothing to worrie about.. todd is about the most dumbest business man ever. have to agree fred!

It pisses me off how addicted I am to that show. It's absolutely absurd, but I can't stop watching!

If the show is foreal, i'd fill that son of a ***** back in, and let that nerd re-dig it.

Yeah that part was lame, I would have torn down the shack that I built and filled that hole with an outhouse amongst other things I could throw in there to mess up the dig.

Lol Whatever do you mean Pat?

They knew that the claim was lost months before they ever went up there. The Discovery Channel producers worked out a deal with Dakota Fred where he'd "buy the equipment" to give them an explanation about where Turd came up with the money to move over the second claim. "Dakota Fred" let himself be made out to be the claim jumping butthead in the whole deal.

All of these reality shows are made up garbage now..

The part that bothers me is that when someone comes up with an idea that catches on, all of a sudden there are three more shows about the exact same thing. Storage auctions, fishing, guns, you name it.

I still love me some Deadliest Catch though! I doubt there's much scripting going on there.

Although I always find myself watching the show when I see it on TV, I have to admit it is much like watching a room full of 3 years olds.... It is however entertaining even though I know the whole thing is most likely scripted...

I agree, Deadliest Catch still ROCKS... RIP Captain Phil...

My guilty pleasure was Breaking Bad. It was just recommended to me recently and I spent an entire weekend watching all four episodes non stop. Some of the best tv I've watched in years.
