Good quality Perf Vinyl

I have been doing a lot of research on ordering my first roll of perf and lam.
I have read where some people don't believe in laminating and also the total opposite.

Any tips on a good quality roll that the price isn't outrageous.
And a good laminate to go with.

Would be using this for vehicles and also store front windows.

Dammit, make it faster!!
For vehicles we use a 50/50 perf with laminate. If you don't laminate it the holes will trap water whereby making thousands of tiny little lenses. For storefront windows we use a 65/35 perf without laminate. Different types of laminate to watch for as well. Some laminates are not meant to conform to curved surfaces such as vehicles.

I see you can get cast laminate made for perf vinyl. When you install the perf without lam do you put premask on it to help with install?
Also why the 65/35? So you can see design better on store front?

Have lots and lots of users of my perf in this forum over the years and I have a great CAST optically clear laminate you can use on the perf you have no problem. There are cheaper perfs and lams on the market but for a super high quality and super consistent material I would bet no one will be able to compete with my stuff. If you need a good laminate for what you have just let me know.

Definitely this.

Also, you need to make sure that it's optically clear laminate for vehicles. This is typically more expensive than your normal laminate, but required by law in many (or all?) states.

I've used Solvex brand in the past, and it's worked for us.
