Grand Opening Ribbon

I have a customer that is needing one Grand Opening Ribbon.
They need a 4" wide (or even 6") by 35 foot long ribbon with
about 10' of wording in the center...where it will be cut at the
Grand Opening.

Has anyone tried to heat press onto ribbon?
I guess I would have to find a source for the ribbon first.
Maybe JoAnn Fabrics carries ribbon that is 4-6" wide.
If I could get the ribbon, heat pressing onto it shouldn't
be too much trouble....if it is a cotton blend.

Any other ideas to make this?
Or anyone know of a source for custom Grand Opening Ribbons?

with vinyl lettering on it. If you don't want to order it I'm fairly sure Michael's and Hobby Lobby both carry wide ribbon.

GREAT! Thanks! That is a place to start...I didn't think of using just
vinyl lettering. Of course, they want a royal blue ribbon with white
lettering. So I will have to see if blue ribbon is available somewhere.
