Graphtec 8600-160 is stretching my cut file

Using Cutting Master 5. Horizontally, the cutting is fine, but the machine is stretching the cut file vertically. The very bottom cuts line up perfectly, and it skews gradually as it goes up. Does anybody have any idea what could be causing this?
I just recently installed CM5 when CM4 stopped working properly and have had this issue ever since. Feels like a hardware issue, but I'm not sure.
