Graphtec drivers for Gerber

Anyone know if Gerber has updated driver for Graphtec plotters?

I'm running OMEGA 2.6... and can select the FC7000 series, but there's nothing there for the FC8000 series'

Are they downloadable anywhere?

Does 3.0 have them?

Thanks!

Chris

Chris, I had the same problem. There is no driver. I even upgraded to the new 3.0 and still no driver. I made my own and it still didn't work correctly. I haven't messed with it in a while, but I did put in a call to customer support. Of course, they called when I was at lunch and I have not tried again. Graphtec support told me that Gerber did not "officially" support the FC8000 series. I have the 64". I just use the Corel cut software. My old Flexi 7.6 does not support it either. Really a shame.

You can add these to your device.ini file found in the software folder.

; Graphtec 8000 Series
FC8000-60=9999,1.016,0,24.0,98,3,1.0,1.0,com2:
FC8000-75=9999,1.016,0,30.0,98,3,1.0,1.0,com2:
FC8000-100=9999,1.016,0,42.0,98,3,1.0,1.0,com2:
FC8000-130=9999,1.016,0,54.0,98,3,1.0,1.0,com2:
FC8000-160=9999,1.016,0,64.0,98,3,1.0,1.0,com2:

After that just use device install. In the next release (Omega 4.0) these will change because GSpPlot will support some of the special features of the 8000.

Did that Tony. It didn't work. And still does not work. In 2.6 or 3.0

I have a FC8000-160 - running off Win XP

When you say "did not work" what do you actually mean?

In your "c:\QUEUE" folder there is a gsp.net file, it's a simple text file, display that here so I can see it or email it to me.
