Graphtec FC7000 is off cutting

Hello, I am having some issues with my plotter. It is reading registration marks and aligning on the first few cuts then it makes some kind of gutteral sound and starts cutting in the wrong spots, about an inch below where it is supposed to. I ran it a few times through and it would do a little bit better each time but then it makes that gutteral sound and it off cuts. I was messing with the Wasatch program yesterday trying some new things. Then when I came in this morning I had some printing issues because of the playing around yesterday, the printing issue has been resolved. I am wondering if the problem I am having is coming from Wasatch or the plotter? Any advice would be appreciated.

Is it only when there are registration marks involved? What happens when you send a regular cut file with multiple items to cut?

Thank you for you fast reply. Please note that I am a novice when it comes to this.

Well this has to have registration marks in order to cut it, doesn't it? I am sending a simple file of text for the back window of a vehicle.

If I may....Last week I had asked if there was any way to use the Graphtec FC7000 like the Graphtec Cutting Pro FC 4100-75, just to cut old school vinyl. Some one was kind enough to reply and I tried it. It really screwed up my mojo. I know how to use the program and plotter, the way it was taught to me, but when I went in and changed things, and now I am having this problem. So you asked me if it is a regular cut file, I am not quite sure. I always use registration marks, that is the only way I was taught. Thank you again any help is appreciated.

Do you design with Corel or Illustrator? If so, just use Grahptec's Cutting Master plug in and cut directly out of the application without printed registration marks. It also will read and cut from the registration marks if you need to.
