I have a Graphtec fc7000 plotter. I have replaced the strip, the penholder & adjusted the pressure. It is not cutting good at all. The plotter is fairly old. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

slower speed? proper blade length- tough materials to cut. There are a few more variables. Does the carriage feel secure in the track? no wobble...

Yes I have the right blade and have adjusted the depth. The carriage does seem to have a wobble though

there should be no play when the machine is off moving left to right , up or down. front to back
