Graphtec Fc8000

Hey guys and girls. I was wondering if anybody has a graphtec fc8000 and if so, could maybe help me? when i send a job to cut, the cut head doesn't depress to cut the vinyl but it mechanics move like it wants to all the way through the job sent. the pin or cutter doesn't depressed tho to cut the vinyl. any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you all in advance.

First, thank you for replying. Yes, it was working fine and no, no settings have been changed. the machine is appr. 8/9 years old.

i would look for something stuck to the tool holder. manually flick it up and down. look for a broken wire.
mine just had an issue where it wouldnt drop the electric eye and read crop marks. i have to do a factory reset on it and then it worked fine again

thank you for the response papabud. dont see any wires broke and nothing seems to be stuck. ill keep trying and hopefully get it fixed soon.

Can you record a video of it with your phone and upload it to youtube? Having some troubles understanding still.

Does the knife holder go up/down at all, or does it just move across the carriage?

Check the cutoff knife. Mine loosened up and nothing would work right.
