I have four Graphtec FC9000's and I'm using Flexi. I mainly cut laminated adhesive vinyl, cut through the backing. I'm trying to figure out a way to automate the process a bit by using barcode, but I'm running into a problem with cross cutting jobs while running barcode. The graphtec will cut the first job it reads, then advance to the next job and cut that job, then it will roll it back to the end of the first job it cut and then crosscut it. This will run about 3 feet of material it just cut back through the cutter so it can crosscut the previous job off the roll. This may encounter some issues with the cuts popping out of the sheet while it's rolling it back through the machine. Is there a way to get it to crosscut the job right after it cuts it when using graphtec barcode?
I also noticed if you have a job that has multiple images, but you send 1 image with (x) amount at a time with the barcode, it will keep the barcode ID the same for all even though I send it as separate jobs. This forces the Graphtec to ask which file to cut and you have to select it by the file name. This isn't terrible, but is there a way to avoid this?
Thanks for the help in advance.
