Seems that my graphtec is cutting 1/8th inch to 1/16th inch under exact size. any tips at what might be causing it.

GPGL Step size needs to be set to the same on the software and on the cutter. Default is 0.1mm, but I have found that too large for small objects. Recommend 0.025mm.

Down in the Cut/Plot page, and in the Default Job Properties. "Step Size" is written there.

Is there any good rule of thumb for which GP step size to work with?
Any pros/cons to running a smaller or larger one?

I have familiarized myself with where to set them on both my machine and Cutmaster software.

It is a Legacy thing. I am not sure why Graphtec still apply it on they cutters. computers and USB ports are fast enough to use 0.010. but the standard for most of the cutters is 0.025.
