We're using Flexi 10.5 with a Mutoh VJ-1204 and all the grays we print have a purple tint to them, does anyone have any tips on what to change in the settings or icc profiles?

First off do a nozzle check

If all looks good, recalibrate. If that does bring it back in line create a new profile.

if you are using can profiles and have not made your own profiles then this is normal.

Most printers use CMYK to make black and this is where you have a pink or sometimes green hue to your blacks and greys.

You need to dial in the linearization and profile to get this to a min and if you print mostly vector you can tell the printer to use pure black for blacks and this will fix it as well. You can tell it to use pure black on raster graphics as well but it usually still uses some of the other colors as that is the nature of rgb.
