Grayscale Question?

I have a gray scale jpg I need to print and my questions are will it print in CMYK? or is there a way to print it with just black foil with the white vinyl showing through for the highlights? would this need to be setup in Omega or the design software (Photoshop)? Thanks for any help.

press 1 (fill) and change process to spot - you can have it print any foil color

Simple,
Uncheck CMYK and select Grayscale in your rip.

Im thinking its an edge job

If grayscale is selected the Edge will only ask for the black foil not CMY.

I am printing on a FX. Where should I uncheck the CMYK and select Grayscale. I almost always just print spot colors and this is the first time it has come up.

Also I tried selecting the spot color option with black which worked, but I lost a lot of detail in the lighter areas.

Any other suggestions welcome.
