Greasy residue on lamination rollers

New laminator has a greasy residue on the rollers, I assume is silicone?

Any tips to get rid of it without damaging the rollers?

Have tried a damn cloth. Seems I may need something a bit stronger.

Cotton rags worked our laminator. I think it's cosmoline, but no idea what it's on the rollers for?

Rag and 90% alcohol for us.

Why not try water and mild dish soap first?
