Can anyone tell what type of grommets the Hiker press uses? I know they are specific for the Stimpson and the Fasnap and not interchangable, is that the same with the Hiker?

Hiker dies are made for Hiker grommets. The top die will hold the top grommet piece in place hands free.

Grommet machines build machines, good to use. I have a Hiker and love it, it's fast and amazing. If you are using a hammer in, throw it in the trash.
If you are thinking about going and spending $1,500 on a grommet machine just for this job to make it easier, why waste the money?

Pre-mark the holes, you can put in 8 grommets in about 60 - 90 seconds with a Hiker.
