GRS Open House coming June 19 and 20th.

We will have demo equipment from:

Also featured is a Flexi Sign training class.

Finally we will have 10+ Vendor representatives available to answer any of your questions.

This shows some of the progress our demo room is going through to get ready for the Open House next month. This is a picture of our bathroom door that we have transformed into an outhouse. This is the finished product, check this link out to see more photos of the process.


The door itself was printed on using our Flora 2512 4'x8' demo unit. The wall and door jam were printed using our Mutoh ValueJet 1638 demo unit on our Prosolv PhotoFab adhesive backed fabric.

GRS FlexiSIGN Training Class - Taught by SAi's Irina Wiles

FlexiSIGN Basic and Advanced
(June 19th 9:30 - 12:30 or June 20th 1:30 - 4:30)


This class is designed for beginner and experienced operators who wish to learn the basics & advanced techniques for design, printing, cutting, and enhancing their work flow using FlexiSIGN.




FlexiSIGN Color Management
(June 19th 1:30 - 4:30 or June 20th 9:30 - 12:30)


This class will help you get a deeper understanding of how color works in your printing environment. Learn how to correctly convert your files from RGB in various formats, from ai files to pdfs.




Each class is $99 or $150 when you combine the two, per attendant. Space is limited register today.

We are promoting this Open House in many ways, one of which is mailing out a flyer. The flyer is finally done and at the printer, it should be mailed out by next week. I wanted to give the signs101 community a first look at it. We are hoping to have most if not all of the equipment listed in the flyer on our demo room floor for the open house.

We have started another project in our demo room to get ready for the Open House.

These tiles were printed on our Mutoh RJ900 and sublimated to the tiles. We will post more pictures next week with the finished project.

Ok we finally have the exact line up of equipment that will be on display at our Open House next Thursday and Friday. I have listed everything below and we look forward to showing them off to you. All manufacturers will have representatives available, we will even have Mutoh America's VP and General Manager here. We will be serving hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch both days. We have many new displays up for you to look at. I will post some pictures on Monday.

It has been a busy day so far at GRS. Our brand new Mutoh ValueJet 1626UH 64" UVLED and ValueJet 1638X 64" Eco-Solvent printers have arrived. Pictures to follow.

Tomorrow is the first day of GRS Open House. Attached are some pictures of the VJ-1626UH and also a video of the first print we ran off the printer. This print was done on a 3mil Gloss Vinyl. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to make a video of it on rigid material yet.

Well the Open House is over. This was the biggest under taking we have ever attempted with the most equipment on the floor. We want to send a big thanks to all of our vendors for lending their knowledge and time. Mutoh, Flora, TVF, Catalina, Sihl, DAF, Graphics One, FosterKeencut, SAi, and Royal Sovereign. Thank you as well to all of our customers that came out and checked out all of the new products.

We also need to send a big thank you to the GRS staff for all of their hard work over the last couple of months to get everything done. Thank you Jack Keiling, Scott Riether, Krista Anderson, Alan Mendel, Brian Bulger, Craig Coviello, Brett Philipps and Mike Keiling. Without your effort Dave and I couldn't have pulled all of this off.
