Does any one know where to get an alignment tool for a GX500 or that might be able to help tighten up my cutter. Looks like im a little off on my cuts they are down and to the right if i recall...

gx 500 alignment tool?

Is there a lot of slack in your motor cable? The alignment tool as I understand it, is for calibration of your own crop marks. I use cutstudio, so I've never needed it myself.
When I have alignment issues, it's the because the material is walking the platen of my 500.

As for the cable what is to much slack?? Is this something that i can or can you over tighten it. It looks easy just move the wheel on the left.
