gx300 not cutting all the way

My gx 300 is leaving little bits of uncut vinyl on each letter I cut. It seems like it should go passed where it would stop to complete the cut but it wont... Has this happened to anyone else.

I had this happen on my summa d60. I eventually had toget a new head but it absolutely solved the problem. What a headache it was to deal with that unfinished cuts

I have a summad60 using flex 8, my summa has just started missing the first bit of the cut on every job. eg if cutting a circle about the first 3or4mm of the cut is missing it's as though the X and Y runs faster than the blade before comming down to meet the vinyl.
