Halo-lit, push-thru, just-4-fun sign

Did this halo-lit, push-thru Chevy sign for my nephew a few weeks back... just for fun and wanted to share it.

Would this be considered halo lit and back lit?

Very cool though. HE will never get rid of that gift

Funny guy... you ever go to the Brothers Truck show out in Anaheim/Yorba Linda (Canyon RV Park)? I was there this past June 28... Looks like it's right around your neck of the woods.

We went a couple of years ago. Yes that is right down the freeway from me. I like the old stuff. But new I have to go Dodge.

Nice work! I've always liked these types of signs, but i've never had the opportunity to make one. Just curious, how do you attach the letters in the back to keep them from falling through the box?

Ive never seen that done, how did you secure those letters?

The letters are cnc routed out of acrylic but not all the way through - they leave a base at the bottom of the letter to attach to the inside of the sign - kind of like a countour
