Hanging strips on framed signs?

Hi,

Need to produce a sign at 40ft x 3ft in aluminium composite panels in a Panatrim type frame.

Obviously this will be multiple panels to make up the width.

Would you guys bother to hang the panels in the frame with hanging strips or, considering these will be composite panels, is that unnecessary?

Had to look up Panatrim, that's a nice looking system. Not sure what you're asking though. I would think multiple panels would have a backer on the seam though
