Happy Saint Patrick's Day! Signs 101

It is believed that Saint Patrick's Day has been celebrated in Ireland since before the 1600s. It was also believed to have served as a one-day break during Lent, the forty day period of fasting. This would involve drinking alcohol; something which became a tradition.

I heard that God made Whiskey only to keep the Irish from taking over the
world.

HAPPY ST. PATTIES!

Don't forget to wear your green.

I love St Patty's Day but it's becoming as commercialized as Halloween!
It's odd seeing people who have green St Pat's lights up.
Even saw a yard with lighted leprechauns in it.
Maybe I was imbibing too much Bushmill's the other night.
(I'm kidding)
May you have warm words on a cold evening,
A full moon on a dark night,
And the road downhill all the way to your door.

Love....Jill
