I have a set of carved 15lb sign-foam letters that are going to be placed where they may get touched by passersby. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with resin coating sign foam. Can I just brush coat them with resin? Should they be primed first? I want a smooth glossy finish. In the past I've just primed and painted with marine enamels and 1shot, but the walk-by traffic has me worried. Any insight is appreciated.
