Ordering from China is easy.
Ask your chinese vendor to give you pricing with DDP. DDP is delivered duty paid.
They do all the customs and tax information for you... And will ship it to your door, vs having to pickup at the port.
DDP shipping is going to be a lot more expensive than your original quote.... But it's more expensive because they're paying all the duties and taxes and brokerage info.
Ordering something that's DDP is as easy as buying something on amazon. Ive bought a few lasers, flatbeds printers (small ones) and tons of consumables / merchandise.... Never had any issue importing it so long as it's DDP, when it's not... 1 of my lasers for instance went FedEx, FedEx took care of all the paperwork (and charged an additional $40 to do so) and charged me the duties and taxes directly.
So unless you're picking up at a port....or wanting to self assess and handle the paperwork yourself vs the shipping company doing it.. You don't need to worry about any customs paperwork,
