Has anyone ever had this problem!! sp-540v?? print status finishing early

ok sooo! my print status on versaworks is racing to 100% and finishing early when its really just started the print.

i have been told this could be a mainboard issue but for what thats going to cost me im hoping there is another solution.

if i restart the computer and printer numerous times im lucky if 1/10 tries will print the whole print.

More likely a networking issue than a mainboard. Changing the IP address can help, also updating the firmware might help. Unfortunately the network card is built into the mainboard, so if that is the problem, the only fix is the painful replacement of the mainboard.

If it is a networking problem, does the printer have a optional USB connection?
If so using a USB connection might work.

hmm, no usb. but perhaps ill give changing the i.p address a go... now to figure out how to do that lol.!!

Could be a bad cable too

Definitly not the cable as i have replaced that.
the print status now sits at 0 for a while and then disappears.

this sucks!!
