Heads up on acrylic, I have been calling my vendors and almost all of their acrylic has been bought out or donated to hospitals for sneeze guards and other type of Coronavirus type products.

I have also been told that they’re starting to get shortages on other substrates & vinyl.

Seems 1/4 is pretty popular for these. Ask for 3/16 or 5/16 and 4x10 vs 4x8. You may get lucky.

We've also been selling some clear polycarbonate for this as well.

Yup as far as I can tell there is no 1/8" 1/4" or 3/16" clear acrylic in all of Ontario, and most of the stuff on order from our suppliers is spoken for already.

That's cause you're trying to save $$ by recycling used TP. Real craftsmen only use new, cast TP with matching laminate.

Is that the new 2080 material from 3M that is replacing the 1080 wrap film?

I heard this was happening when everything started. Even our supplier said the manufacturer stopped answering phones for about a week because they couldn't even keep up with answering them, let alone fulfilling orders. Crazy times.

I wonder how stocked up Gemini and large resellers are....

It's not just acrylic, all kinds of stuff are being overrun right now. Wire H Stakes and Coro are backlogged a bit too, not like acrylic, but it's crazy.
