Heat Transfer Vinyl Material

Hi,

Our company creates logos for clothing and items such as coolers, and I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for heat transfer vinyls for coolers. A material currently used is Decal HT print over laminate / high tac vinyl. Wondering if there is a list of different kinds of materials that could be used.

Hard shell coolers. The company gets them done at another place but want to start doing it ourselves. It is believed the other company uses some kind of HTV and a heat gun. Wondering if you knew of a list of such materials that would work on a hard shell cooler?

Why would you use a heat press material on a hard plastic cooler? Heat press materials are for fabrics, i.e. garments.

If they are applying something using a heat gun, my guess is it's because the plastic is textured and also a low surface energy material, and they are heating regular vinyl and rolling it the way you'd do a brick/concrete wall wrap.

some of the nicer coolers are like cutting board plastic, and the texture makes it non stick, id go with some super high tack even if i was going to heat some vinyl to it

I would not use HTV, try something like Convex super high tack for plastics...you have to read the details, not sure what kind of plastics etc.

I know 3M makes a product as well but I can't remember what it's called. Basically, you are looking for a vinyl with the right adhesive.
