Heater Control gone bad

Have been getting heat temperatures up and down no control over them

Was told that a new heater control unit is on back order till mid june

Can anyone confirm this? or have any info where to get sooner/

I think that you are referring to the heater control for the Pro II series?? (SC-545EX??)

If so then yes... I think that I might have taken the last one a few weeks ago. The point of failure on these units is the internal solenoid. It gets stuck.

Parts are in Japan.

We replaced our Heater Control on our 6yr old sc 545ex a few months ago...we only switched out the Control box and didn't even mess around with all the cables....those were fine..I think we paid $500 and saved $350 in tech visit....took 15 mins....I remember the day my heater would go right up to 50 degrees...those days are over...bought mine locally.
