Heater Settings ?????????

When printing with my XC-540, in the print, laminate, cut mode..............do most people turn there heater settings OFF, before completing there final contour cutting..............some say NO, some say YES...............what do you do..................thanks

if it's a simple cut I usually leave it on. If it's complex I usually turn it off. The heat softens the adhesive so it can make weeding a pain in the A$$. Just remember to turn it back on when yer done.
