Hello everyone,
My name is Jen i go by "Hot Rod Jen" I'm a full time pinstriper, and do lettering and gilding.
I work mainly on vehicles from hot rods, motorcycles, fire apparatus to trains and planes. Up to this point everything i've done is pretty much in the traditional fashion.
The last few years i've been considering getting a plotter/cutter to aid me in my work like using a pen tool to plot out some large signage, and masks to help with adding airbrush effects to some car projects.
I've been a lurker on here for years, but I just purchased a plotter/cutter and waiting for its arrival i will try my best to learn independently, this new to me world but if i run into any hickups i will use the search feature in the forum the best i can.

Good on you Jen,
I am a sign and graphics shop doing many things, but I have a client who is a painter by trade and does a ton of Harley Davidsons. For years, I have made stencils for him that he airbrushes in with effects. He really likes Avery Paint Mask. I believe it is SF-100. I have even cut intricate logos and what looked like hand striping but I warn you, weeding fine lines can frustrate the hell out of you.

a P-61 black widow ww2 plane i got to do the noseart on pinup and "moonbeam dream" was hand painted, the little text right of her is vinyl not done by me.

I do a bunch of heritage rail stock for Strasburg railroad and have done other rail equipment for other places, they are a lot of fun to do.
