Hello Everyone

The name is Jack and I live in the state of Washington. I have always admired sign painters and have always wanted to learn this art. I am interested primarly in lettering and painting. My goal is to learn everything I can, so that someday I can paint signs like I've seen over the years for profit.

Welcome from a PA hand painter.
The best way to get your feet wet is to attend a Letterhead meet.
Future meets are usually listed in SignCraft magazine.
Pierre Tardif is having a handlettering bootcamp in Quebec City this spring.
It's about $500 but you would learn from one of the coolest and most dedicated sign painters in the world.
You can also buy books about it such as the one from Bill Stewart or Mike Stevens.
Signcraft magazine sells some of these and other books as well.
Love.....Jill

Welcome aboard from just over the hill. Still swinging brushes here after 39 years.

Excellent suggestion Craig! :thumb:
Attending that workshop is money well spent for anyone looking to get into hand lettering. Jeff really knows his stuff.
