Just found this board and decided to join. I bought an existing sign shop in December 2008 and still trying to get back to the sales level the previous owners achieved in 2007 & 2008. I have a Graphtec FC-130 cutter, Flexi-Sign V8 Pro on one computer and V8 Designer on a second computer.

I'm seeing an increase in requests for quotes, but the same issue I've seen for the last 5 years - most clients have little to no knowledge of the cost of materials to produce signs and do not budget appropriately.

I hope I can help others on the boards, and I know I will find good advice in other's posts - I already have!:thumb:

Welcome from the Kingdom of Texas!
An artical in last month's Sign Business stated that the sign industry had a total revenue of 21 billion in 2007. The last two years we split up revenues of 15 billion. If you are holding your own the last few years maybe you ain't doin' so bad.
