Hi guys! My name is Chris. I'm originally from New England (NH specifically), but I've lived in the Nashville area for the last 2 years. (Culture shock! lol) I've also lived in CA, FL and PA. I'm 41, married, with 2 boys, a puppy and 2 parakeets.
I have worked as a graphic designer and in pre-press for many years. Then, I got away from it for a while and worked as a Realtor and then owned and ran a specialty food company for a few years. I am happy to get away from food and back to what I love! A long time ago, I worked as a temp in a sign shop, and I really enjoyed it. I really like the production end of the design spectrum more than just designing. I'm not one of those designers that takes forever on a project. I'm more of a "git 'er done" kind of person. I've always liked working for printers more than design agencies. (Except I'm allergic to printer ink! As long as I'm not in the same room with the fumes, I'm okay. lol)
So, I recently bought a big 48" P-CUT cutter to start out with. I plan to do mostly wall decals, but I also have a heat press and plan to do shirts, etc.
Oh, I'm also a Zumba fitness instructor. I love it!
