Hey, been in the sign biz since 1988. Started out hand lettering and doing alot of wood carved stuff. In 1988 the shop I started at had a Gerber Sprint 3 with 9 fonts, and we thought we where AWESOME!!! In 1994 started my own shop with a 24" roland and a 486dx Computer running SignLab 2.1. Since then the shop has added several plotters, a roland versacamm, two M&R screen print machines (dryers and the full set-up)
A full sheet metal shop (welders, heavy gauge brake, 52" shear) and full fabrication shop as well ( vertical panel saw/router, 30" ban saw, full wood shop) At the age of 38 I am thinking of expanding into other areas like embroidery. My motto is that I don't make signs for money! You can't do something just for money or you will not enjoy yourself and thus waste your life. Me and my family have been blessed our shop has been good to us.
