Hello everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is CHris and I just bought a US Cutter PCUT 25" off of Ebay for 225.00. My brother uses a Roland SV-15 and I just thought I'd get into making Vinyl stickers and stuff as a hobby. Anyone have some pointers for a new guy?

My setup is as follows:

US Cutter PCUT 25"
Signblazer Software (came with the cutter never used it before)
Adobe Illustrator CS3
Adobe Photoshop CS3
CorelDraw X3

My computer is pretty stout cause I do 3d Graphics so I shouldn't have any problems in that category. Anything else I need. I know I'll need some other stuff just don't know where to start.

Any help would be awsome. Again just wanted to say hello!

Yeah, read the formidable number of posts on any topic you are interested in here. Do a search on this site to get the info you need.
If you can't find it..post a question.

Is your brother in the sign business or is he a hobbyist as well.
*Note* be cautious when slinging the "H" word here. Most Noobs get a severe verbal beating around here with that.

He is a graphic artist by trade and does vinyl stickers as a hobby.
