Hello I'm from Orlando, I do signs as a hobby, thinking of going full blast at it, I hope to learn more about this business.
Thanks, Will

I'm a construction worker, my trade is brick pavers, I do driveways, pool decks, sidewalks and stuff like that. I love it but my real passion is for graphic design and signs.
Thanks

Tell me about composite decking please!
Do you attach the planks with 3/4 penny nails or do you
use some sort of adhesive?
Also, what is the lifespan as compared to pressure-treated wood?

I don't do this kind of deck, the materials that I use are travertine, granite, pavers but no composite planks, I attached a URL of the kind of project I do, just so you know, this is not one of my projects, but you get the idea.

Depending on the shape, you can do 3 or 4 different patterns, and they are laid one by one in a compacted base material usually, crushed concrete and then we cut it with a power saw with diamond blade.

I've doing this for 10 years, but it doesn't take long at all, all you need is the ability to keep things strait and level, i goes down pretty fast, a 1500 sqft driveway goes in in 1 day with 4 workers.

Well that's more that I can say about sign people.

muuhhhh-hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

But seriously......I'm going to be in the Orlando area soon.
Maybe I can pal around with you for a few weeks and figure out how I can lay pavers.

Shovel :)

At least I'm not the only one hahaha

On a serious note, I'd like to get out of the sign business and start a custom driveway/patio paver business. It does look easy and there are a lot of houses in the world. I already have a tape measure, level, and saw to cut the pavers with. Wonder what softwares I will need to design the patios with?
