Heyung (Hello) Everyone,
My Name is Conook and I am from a Small Indian reservation in California. I have been researching vinyl cutters and the sign business for about 2 years now. I have a back ground in Manufacturing technologies and have several certificates in CAD design and custom computer graphics design. I designed gaming tables for casinos with animals and tribal symbols for the local indian casinos using 3D graphics programs to be used on CNC machining systems.
I am burnt out from the humdrum work and finally bought a vinyl cutter. Talk about a huge wake up call. I thought I knew about design....sign makers are a true talented group of people. I hope that one day I can say the same about me. I have been using mine and making good money but I have only been touching the tip of the ice berg. I am only doing what I am capable of doing at the moment but will definetely learn more as time goes by.
I hope that everyone in this forum will help me out because I will surely support and help those with what little...and I mean little knowledge I have of the sign industry.
