OK, so I missed introducing myself when I first joined, please forgive me. This looks to be a great resource site for questions, answers and opinions.
I work at a trade show decorator in Western Virginia, so we are not a sign shop like many of you, but we do our fair share of work for shows.
We do a lot of gatorfoam, tyvek, coroplast and some vinyl lettering. We are presently without a printer in house, we had printed almost everything on an HP 2500, which died in January. We had to mount, laminate or whatever we needed. Right now we are subbing our stuff out, but have a flatbed on order.
I do most of my work on a Mac, and will do the printing when it is back in house. I also end up doing some tech support on systems in house.
Anyway it is great to be here!
