Hello from Wild & Windy Wyoming

I bought an existing sign shop about 2 years ago in Cheyenne. I have learned a lot in the last 2 years. The most important thing I've learned is that I have a lot more to learn. I found this site while searching for a forum to connect with experienced professionals willing to share their knowledge. Reading through quite a few of the posting before I registered, I think I found just what I was looking for. And with scarcasm thrown in for free. What a deal !
I do have a question about installing floor vinyl. I'm bidding a job with about 5 images that are 6' diameter to mounted on concrete flooring. Any tips, pitfalls, ideas on pricing?
Thanks

Floor Graphics

Be careful on the warranty. I distribute floor graphic films and the manufacturers do not warranty their products on painted or sealed concrete floors. They site problems from the paint pulling up from the concrete. I have several customers here in Denver who will give you a quote if you need to sub it out

Welcome from Maryland! :) make sure you have the correct vinyl... 3M is making something now especially for concrete... I installed it outside in DC in the fall and it still appears to be doing well 4+ months later...

What about the actual install process? Anything different than regular vinyl install? anything special to look out for?

Welcome to the site. Always nice to see another Wyomin around. I'm in Worland, and I know there's a couple others here from Gillette. The only good thing about Worland is we don't get the wind like the rest of the state does. This is definitely the site to be at if you want to learn from the best.

Welcome from Willoughby, Ohio, lived in Cheyenne for years, in fact lived in the house where that little 6 year old girl Jessica crashed trying to be the youngest pilot to fly across country. That was sad. The weather was so bad when she took off. Try to get the printing work for the Cowboy Bar, it's a great account.
