Help!-Banner Rope/Clamp Mounting

I have a new client that uses a 53' Semi Trailer as a billboard with 52'x9.5' Banners. The current banners are held on with a clamp system on the sides and top, and there is what looks like a nylon rope with a 1/4" plastic core sewn to the edges of the banner. Those slide into a clamp to hold it in place. Does anyone know the technical name for those so I can research where to buy them to sew them on?
