I have been having this problem ALLL day. Why is My artwork printing to the color I set it to, but the gradient is printing washed out??? When i click on the color of the gradient, it says st43k, just like the rest of the file is. Printing from versaworks

I'm guessing that this has something to do with the gradient's color mode not matching that of the color(s) of which it is composed. For example, if your are printing from a CMYK swatch table, the gradient color mode should be set to CMYK.

That does make sense, but I just find it hard to believe that you can print gradients using Rolands Swatch Library. I have the perfect match of the color I need and can't use it.

Versaworks cannot print spot color gradients even using their own spot color palette...
It is a little odd since they are cmyk values.

Thanks for responding. Wow, so this can't be done. I guess this is the first gradient I have used, using Rolands pallette.
