HELP! HP latex 370 is broke

We are having an issue with our HP latex 370. It was printing fine the other day and then it stopped with the error code 42:10. The carriage wouldn't move smoothly by hand. Nothing was blocking it and I cleaned and oiled the rail, but nothing helped. We ordered a scan axis motor and changed it along with a new belt that we had. Now when we try and start the printer right away the light inside starts blinking like a strobe light and we get an error code 01.1:10. It says "class: electronics and sub class: printmech board". The only thing we touched was connecting the new motor to it. Any idea what would be causing this error?

Where did you buy the parts?

The belt was from when we were still under warranty and HP came out to fix something and didn't need to replace the belt but left it for us.
The scan axis motor was from Wide Image Solutions.

You probably touched another cable ever so slightly. Unless the old motor broke the printmech.
