HELP! i lost most of my colors.

Mutoh 1204. Bought brand new in 2010, no major issues with it. Until 2 days ago, I did a basic cleaning, and cleaned around the outside if the head, capping station and wiper. Immediately after that almost all of the colors have gone away. Only about half the magenta works. 5% of yellow works, no cyan, about 20% black. I haven't a clue as to what could have happened. Ink likes are full, no air, dampers are full. Maintenance station seems to be working perfectly, I can see the ink being pulled and coming out of the drain lines. I have done a head soak, I have done many strong cleanings, and little charges, the results have not improved at all. I'm am absolutely stumped. There's only one mutoh tech around here and he's 3 hours away and hasn't responded to me.

Had a tech finally get back to me today. after explaining everything to him, he thinks that the head is bad. he said it may have de-laminated itself after the last cleaning. According to the head life on the printer its only at half. But it is also 13 years old. The printer isnt used a lot, maybe once or twice a week.
What are your opinions?

The print head is about $1300 from solventinkjet. They offer tech support. Just bought a Dx7 from them, putting it in this weekend

I got a repair quote today. $4349. About 1000 of that is for travel and labor. And parts were about double the price. They wanted $65 for each damper!
I think I will take a gamble and attempt to replace the head myself. Any suggestions on where to but the print head from? It's a DX5.

Update: I repaired it myself. Wasn't as bad as i thought. Works like a new printer now. (knock on wood)
