Help: Illustrator and Graphix Advantage

recently picked up a gerber edge1 from a friend, it came with graphix advantage 6.2(dont worry, we plan on going to omega soon!) i design in AI. Cs5, i select my colors with the gerber foil pallets in AI., but when i import it into GA, its all black and its still saying its a CMYK print... any help on how i can just select my colors, import and print?

With GA you will have to reassign all your colors, with Omega they will import.
