Hi guys, I'm looking for opinions on the following two printers:
Roland VersaUV LEC 12
Mimaki UJF-3042
I'm currently using a flatbed printer from another company and am not happy with how much downtime I'm experiencing.
I searched and only found a couple of reviews from a few years ago. If anyone is using these printers, I'd appreciate your review!
My questions are:
1. What is the time to complete a standard size print (12x11 or so ), using a white underbase?
2. What is the ink cost per square inch?
3. What is the outdoor durability of this ink?
4. Will this ink stick to painted metal, high-strength plastic, and chrome surfaces when mounted permanently outdoors?
5. What costs are associated with the periodic maintenance of the machine, and what parts need to be periodically replaced?
6. Have you had any issues learning the machine, maintaining the machine, or using the machine on an ongoing basis?
