Ok,
Reading through your frustration. The same thing happened to my JV3-160sp worked on it for a month! / I even sent everything off to have it worked on and sent back (macmedia) new slider card /NothING!
So we got a new printer (JV33) Got it from Dan Long @ Resource Imaging in Cincinnati (Great company, been buying inks from them for years!)
BUT - Here is the kicker the Mimaki service tech that they sent out to install the new machine is AWESOME. We paid him to get our old printer up and running. His name is Chris Wallace (513) 317-3351
He is probably the best Mimaki guy I've seen. Worth a call.
